Electric Furnace-furnace course 2001
This is a photo montage of the contruction of a one square foot furnace/kiln capable of melting glass to blow with.
The design we used was to follow this simple sketch by the instructor, Randolph Repass.
The base and bricks laid out.

all together and fired up for a test...1250 celcius!
a pseudo test gather (no pot yet!) Nice heat for a bunch of ametuers!
